I've been through a few of these riding the startup
rollercoaster. Whether or not to "paint the attic"
depends a lot on who else is doing it with you. It's
hard to get very ticked off about having to paint
when the CEO is masking off the windows and the R&D
manager is making the supply runs to the paint store.
