There was definitely a problem. I read Techwr-L via the newsgroup.
Throughout the day, my newsreader timed out each time I tried to connect.
But I could ping lists.raycomm.com, so the server wasn't completely dead.

I subscribe to the FrameUsers list (which is hosted on the same server) via
email. I received no messages between Wed. night and 9:11 PM Thurs., when
all the Thurs. postings started to come in.
