Cory,

Check out the IEEE Professional Communication Society (PCS). Note, PCS
should not be confused with the IEEE's Communications Society or the
Computer Society or the Signal Processing Society or, etc. IEEE has 45
Councils and Societies. The IEEE is a big outfit (365,000 members in
175 countries).

I believe PCS is one of the best kept secrets of the IEEE. The current
PCS issue, which I believe is very important to technical
communicators, is outlined at:

http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/tocresult.jsp?isNumber=28469&puNumber=4
7

The home page for IEEE PCS is:

http://www.ieeepcs.org/

Bill D.

Howdy,

Besides the STC, what are some good web design and technical writing
(software documentation) professional organizations?

Thanks!
Cory
