Several years ago, a large company I'm familiar with used to publish a
glossary of terms and acronyms associated with their products. It's a
running joke within the company on how many acronyms are officially used for
products, department/divisions names, etc.

Several years ago, there used to be an entry in this book, probably
overlooked by 99.9% of the people who read it.

TLA -- Three Letter Acronym

Yes, the techwriters on this book had a sense of humor. :-)
