This is all well and good if you're fortunate enough to
be having your fun in an organization that's dedicated
to continuing to provide your "FM's" whether people read
them or not. Unfortunately, in many cases the consequence
of people not "RTFM'ing" is a massive expenditure in tech
support, leading to a drive to cut costs...and you know
where that often leads. But even in a setting where
responsibility for what people do or don't read is not
thrust upon you whether you accept it or not, if you can
somehow come up with a way to *get* them to RTFM, or to
provide them with something they will use instead of
that FM, there are very large potential opportunities
that go beyond just not being held repsonsible for
failure, don't you think?
