That would be like asking "Who is with me that Macs and Word Suck?" Even if
you get a group of people together that agree with you, what would you do,
have a double space march on Washington. This is a trivial argument. A
person will use what is required of them by their client, style guide, or
conscience.

If they rejected me based on single or double spaces without knowing the
requirements of those documents, then I wouldn't want to work for that
person anyway. They would be too anal retentive to see any value in my
writing ability. As far as the web is concerned, it's a single space world
unless the W3C has changed the HTML spec. And the thought of inserting
non-breaking spaces is not a scalable solution and just plain wrong.
