No, you've got it largely right. FinalDraft is emphatically *not* an editing tool. It is a collaborative, electronic review tool. Reviewers can comment on drafts, participated in threaded discussions *about* the drafts they are reviewing, but they cannot modify the source documents at all. Only the author can modify the source documents.
