FrameMaker hack / scripting tool / whatever to set PDF Setup options?
Subject:FrameMaker hack / scripting tool / whatever to set PDF Setup options? From:robert -at- lauriston -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 12 Jul 2004 15:36:02 -0600
After some effort, I've got MIF Doclet automatically generating a PDF
counterpart of our Javadoc API reference. It's important that this not
require any manual intervention.
The only remaining problem is that when FrameMaker 7.0p578 imports the a
5.5-format MIF generated by MIF Doclet, it defaults "Generate Tagged PDF"
to on, which means that it takes Acrobat Distiller 6.0.1 a couple of hours
to generate the PDF. With the option off, it takes only a few minutes.
Anybody know a scripting tool that can set that option off (DZBatcher
can't), or some other hack to achieve the same result?
