Our group is in the process of deciding the placement of a video icon that
will provide our users the ability to read the procedures, or click on the
video icon to watch a small clip of the procedure being performed. Is there
anyone out there who has documented procedures that include video clips? If
so, any feedback from those out there with this experience on the preferred
placement of the video icon would be much appreciated.
I'm referencing a document from SunFire that won an STC competition in 2003.
It uses a video clip icon for certain procedures. One last question, does
anyone know what type of evaluations the STC competitions follow to
determine the winners? I found their evaluation form, but I am unsure what
categories apply to the different levels of winners.
