The STC and Me

Hi folks,
The STC provides value to me in a few ways.

First of all I wouldn't have the faintest idea who Geoff Hart was or how
helpful and knowledgeable he is. He will try his best to help you out if
you have a problem. He's a good guy. Thanks to the STC I've read all of
Geoff's helpful articles in the publications I get from the STC. I save
every issue. The meetings are fun, sociable, educational and my chapter has
annual socials at a member's house and a dinner at the year-end. Heck being
chained to a desk all day does not provide me with much networking, I'm a
lone writer. So I'm glad to be part of the STC.

And heck I don't have to pay for it so why not? If it only makes me look
good to my boss it's worth it on that alone.
