After losing it for over two years, I've finally got back a dedicated piece of real estate for embedded help (right on the application page) in the latest release of my employer's web-based software.

Product Marketing wants the real estate back in the next version, though, unless I can show mainstream, big-name, web-based and desktop apps that have embedded help.

If you can think of some great examples, I'd sure appreciate hearing about them...off-list would probably be appropriate.
