Google actually has a keyword for producing dictionary-specific searches.
It rocks; I stopped using dictionary.com after I found out about it.

Just prepend any query with "define:" and you'll get a list of definitions
(that's _just_ definitions, no web page search results) for the terms you
search on. Single-word queries work best in my experience.

For example: http://www.google.com/search?q=define:api
