It's a two-way street. As colleagues, you're equals. The age difference
shouldn't make a difference.

I once was shocked to learn that a colleague was in his fifties. Didn't
look like it, and I never even thought about his age.

Don't use your age to either treat younger colleagues as kids or demand
respect based on age, and don't treat anyone older any differently than
your other professional contacts and all should go well.

But, if a younger worker views you as an old coot, or an older worker
demands that you show them respect they deserve, that's another bridge to
cross.
