I think the calendar looks fine, particularly when you warn them in
advance what it is. I do think the copy is a bit too sexist to be
appropriate for use in a samples portfolio. If you change "perfect and
delectable as succulent peaches ready to be bitten into" into something
more technical and detached, I think you'll be fine.

Also, is this the ONLY sample you have of your design work? If not, I'd
lead off with something else, and only get to this if they keep asking to
see more.
