Greg,

You shouldn't be talking about things you obviously have no knowledge
of. ;)

A Mensa test exists of three different tests:

- the symbol/pattern 'get the picture' kind of questions
- numerical patterns
- words/language

Especially the latter has nothing to do with patterns and symbols.
You only need to 'pass' one test to become a member.

I agree though that IQ is often confused with wisdom... I've met a lot
of people with an average IQ who were much wiser than some of the
brainies I met.
