Tell me folks, what's wrong with this picture?? Here's
a portion of a job ad I just found on-line:

Entry-level candidate needed to assist in the
documentation of a robust suite of financial software
applications for trade order management {SNIP...) for
the complete line of Eze Castle products, including
release notes, technical and functional specifications
and end-user online help. (...SNIP... )researching
highly technical information and interviewing
programmers and product managers. (...SNIP...)
Candidate should be task-oriented and have experience
in planning, organizing and evaluating short and
long-term projects.

Requirements:
· BS/BA in related field (English, Communications,
Technical Writing)
· 1-2 years experience (technical/professional
writing, financial software)
· Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced
environment
· Excellent English writing skills and awareness of
industry standards in writing styles for technical and
professional information.
· Proficiency in word processing/office software
skills including MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Visio,
Adobe Acrobat
· Basic knowledge of HTML (document structure, links,
tables, graphics, frames, CSS) and Dreamweaver (or a
similar HTML editor).
· Experience with RoboHELP and design experience
creating usable online help
· Good teamwork skills

Preferred:
· Knowledge of financial industry
· Familiarity with SQL
· Awareness of Javascript event handlers
· Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, (knowledge/design
skills in cropping and editing screen captures)
· Experience with Adobe Framemaker
