No, I did not find it offensive either. I interpret his request for info
just to be a request for general, rough info, which is how Julia
interprets it.

I didn't find it offensive. I didn't get the impression that he was
asking
for specific details of the tests but just a general overview of what
areas
are tested.

Personally I like to have the opportunity to be mentally prepared for a
test
by knowing roughly what sort of thing it covers (tool stuff? writing
style?
grammar/spelling etc.). . .
