Depends on what style guide you're using. It also depends on who your target
audience is. I am one of many Irish people who no longer knows how to spell
because most of my professional writing is for the US market.

But in this instance, I'm most interested in why you want to be ironic about
the word sarcastic. What did you really mean when you put those inverted
commas around sarcastic? Did you realise you were implying a different
meaning to the accepted meaning of the word, or are you just unfamiliar with
how to use inverted commas?
