Sorry, but I don't see that what Donna was describing was aggressive.
Determined, yes, but isn't that the point? It's not like someone is
recommending that you scream at people. Humor, tact and persistence are
major job requirements.

In an ideal world, we could all just wait for the information to waft onto
our desks, but my developers and project managers are way too busy most of
the time, so I regard it as my doing them a favor to remind them.

This also allows me to say to my manager - well, I stopped by and reminded
Developer 1, Developer 2, and Developer 3 about their deadlines on these
dates; I'll let you know when I get the reviews - honestly, I get much
better annual reviews this way.
