Okay, this is what I would do, and please keep in mind that I am a
little more confrontational than your average bear.

I would approach this person, and VERY cordially, ask them if there was
a problem, for example: "Have I done something to offend you?" or "Do
you have something against me?" or the like.

I did state early on in the original thread that I basically place
getting the job done ahead of the interpersonal relationship, but I do
take certain steps to do my part in making the working environment more
amicable.

I tend to agree with what Barb said in that it sounds like this problem
lies more in the lap of the person playing shutout with you, than it
does with you.

As I stated, I am a little confrontational, but in the circumstances
where someone wanted to play shutout with me for whatever reason, I
didn't get in a funk. Instead, I focused on the positive relationships
in the workplace. There were times were the person came around and
realized that I am not such a bad guy to know, and others where they
never gave me the time of day.

Keep your chin up in any event.
