Basically, I am the type of person who likes to have all the cards on
the table. I do not go out looking for a fight though. But by not
nipping an issue in the bud, it can grow into a problem.

Furthermore, I tend to approach the person first and see if we can hash
things out. If that does not resolve things, I then would go to my
superior.
