Agreed...my undergrad work was in English and Experimental Psych, the
latter being what helped me more as a tech writer with an eye toward
usability (the other just makes me good at dinner parties and lit
questions on Jeopardy.) My MS is in Tech Comm with an emphasis in
Information Science...that degree, without a doubt, got me interest I
wouldn't have received otherwise. And with this latest job, I know for
a fact I got the position over someone else b/c of it.
