The only viable approach is to clearly state what it is your product does support, and then clearly state that it does not support anything other than what you say it does.

Trying to predict what a user might incorrectly think a product
does is futile. No matter how foolproof you may think your
analysis is, there will always be one fool who will disprove
it.

In the application server space, it's hard to say you don't support
something -- based on the sheer volume of "middleware" or "connector"
products that make just about *anything* possible. XML is a beautiful thing.
