Re: technical writer jobs in Canada
I am considering going to Canada for a year in a few
months time and I am just wondering if there is much
work available in Canada for technical writers.
TK is also new to the profession and plans to spend 6 months in one urban centre and the remaining 6 months in another urban centre.
I would suggest that TK use the internet to search for contract positions before arriving. Also, if TK is planning to work in Canada (and is not Canadian), he/she will need a work visa. Although there are contract positions in Toronto, it might be hard for an inexperienced technical writer to find a sponsor company for a 6 month contract.
