I agree and add:
There is a big difference between antisocial and introverted. Technical
and scientific people (for our purposes, 'geeks') tend to be introverted
(internally motivated); whereas antisocial people dislike socializing
with other people.
People who are antisocial exist, but it is not accurate to equate that
behavior with 'geeks'.
On a personal note, I find it a lot easier to deal with introverts than
socially 'slick' people who possibly populate HR, Marketing and Sales
departments ;-D
