Another concern is whether you will be localizing your docs--is your
product sold abroad?
If so, of the products you mentioned I would think that AuthorIt is
superior to the others. It would allow you to have localized only the
changes from one version to the next.
In addition, since AuthorIt is at its heart a CMS, you can easily
repurpose docs in many ways as the need arises. To me, it seems by far
the most flexible of the three.
I have not used RH since Macromedia bought it, but prior versions
always had too many "gotchas" for my taste. WWP users seem extremely
happy with it, and if you want to keep your originals in Word it may
be a good fit.
