Hi Jerry

I'd like to help with this--am also a programmer, so if we use a Wiki
or similar I could write a scraper to make a downloadable version (in
theory).

I think the Wiki idea is the best to get things going. I'd personally
like a Wiki that was free (as in beer, and as in speech)--perhaps the
Portland Patterns Repository?
