Hi, John:

If you're comfortable with DOS commands, you can try the find command. Something like

C:> find /i ".asp" file_path_or_wild-card_pattern > aspnames.txt

"/i" means "ignore case."

Example:

C:> find /i ".asp" c:\code-files_directory\*.code_file_extension > aspnames.txt

For more detail on find, type help find at a DOS prompt (or find with no argument, or find /?).

Hi, guys...I'm trying to extract strings of text from code.

In this case, I'm trying to pulll out any line of code that has .asp
in it. From there, I can trim it down to only the .asp names in that
