Though this is a bit off-topic, you'd think that something that
governs the health of a person via a clock would have been designed
with an internal "calendar" that accommodates daylight savings time.
[Of course you'd need a simple config of geographic location when you
initially set the thing so it knows when, if at all, to account for
daylight savings time.]

Something *is* broken there... hopefully it's not a customer. :-|
