Of course. The only option is to adapt.

But I tire, so, of being the end of the whip whenever these "market force-driven" earthquakes occur, just to put more $$ in the shareholder's pocket, requiring me to change the way I do my job.

I'm tired of corporate buyouts being used to bolster a company's stock price rather than sales based on good product development based on competition. It's the lazy way out.

Of course it's my job to adapt. But I don't have to be happy about the greedy cause that generates that change when I'm not sharing in the benefit$.

Now, if I could charge for tool research and re-training, that'd be a different cow... (or insert your favorite animal reference).
