While interviewing a few months back, I had several places tell me "oh
good, you brought your portfolio, a lot of candidates didn't" and yeah,
I was pretty flabbergasted at that.

And I've also learned, when no one at a place seems interested in your
portfolio... run away, run away. Isn't a good sign, at least for me.
