I will have to use Javascript with some website content. Does anyone know of a quickie tutorial that I can find to help me get
started?

Try W3Schools. Good stuff.

On the printed-reference side, I like the O'Reilly "Pocket Guide"
series. They're typically $10US, cover all the useful syntax,
manage to work-in _some_ examples, and sure beat amassing a library
of $40 tomes that are pitched too high or too low for your needs and
overlap each others' content. Together with online resources, an
O'Reilly Pocket Guide is often all you need.
