Re: "Zooming" in on screen shot

Hi Louisa,

This is pretty simple but looks great when you're finished:

1. Open the capture in Photoshop. Make it a new layer (Layer 1)

2. Use a Marquee tool to select the portion of Layer 1 you'll want
enlarged

3. Copy the selected section. Do not paste at this time!

4. Use  Brightness/Contrast to darken the selected area  (-40 usually
looks good) in Layer 1.

5. Paste the section of screen you copied in step 3, it'll be Layer 2. 

6. Reduce the size of Layer 1 as desired (by 30% or more)

7. Place Layer 2 where you can draw a 2 point line between it and the
darkened patch in Layer 1.

That's it!
