Re: Help vision
Install Instiki at home, on Linux. It's a cinch. To a certain mind, a wiki like Instiki can be a great personal organizer/ note-taker/ brain-dump tool, with yourself as the only user. The built-in PDF- and HTML-dumping is just a bonus -- and what serves to keep it loosely on-topic, along with general business interest in wikis.
This is mind-expanding stuff, in the right hands.
As long as we're talking about wiki-like tools, I like to use WikiWriter for Help files, web sites, text-base storage, brain-dumping, and the like because of its indexing and handy search capabilities, accommodation for CSS and HTML Help file format, and the multi-page MHT single-file archiving and delivery mode. Of course, in the interest of full disclosure and disclaimer, I have to confess that this preference may just be because I wrote WikiWriter and have a soft heart for stuff I write.
