Just speculating here, but perhaps PTC will now provide image hotspot capabilities within Arbortext. One reason our company is looking at other solutions is because we have graphic-intensive online documents, currently in RoboHelp X5. If PTC is a well-known CAD company within the manufacturing industry, then perhaps it will provide some sort of image support that is more dazzling than what currently exists in Arbortext. We were told in person by the folks from Arbortext just last week that not this version, but the next version, will support image hotspots. As to why we were not told the product was being bought out remains a mystery. Perhaps the company representatives did not even know about a possible buyout, but that is, again, just speculation on my part.
