I didn't pick GIMP because it was a good example and made my
point...really!. I picked GIMP because it was the first name that
came to mind and that was the process that I found.
I don't use OS because I've expereinced that situation before and I
knew it was that kind of process that has turned me off to OS before.
It just happened that GIMP DID meet my expectation.
As far as OpenOffice...I had it for a while..didn't do much for me
and I think it caused something else on my machine to become
unstable....I don't remember what it was.
I know that OS is fine for millions of people. it just doesn't float
my boat.
