I don't think there are any agreed upon 'tech writing style standards' as
all tech writers work to the rule: "He who has the God, rules"

Various companies/organizations have put out style guides, and they all
differ in some way or another.

Where possible, the screen shot/capture should be centered, and the caption
centered below.

Reason: Table title/captions above, figure/exhibit captions below.

That is, show the screen shot/capture. The title/caption is BOLD..

Example of "My" suggestion:

| Screen |
| Shot/ | {Centered}
| Capture |
----------------

Exhibit x-x. (The title that you will refer the 'screen shot/capture by)
{centered}


The number of the tables/figures/exhibits varies according to the numbering
scheme being used in the documentation.
