I'm with you, actually. Money can't buy you happiness, but it does buy
you food, clothes, your home mortgage, car payments, etc.
If I was genuinely unsatisfied at a job or saw things at the company I
disapproved of, such as poor treatment of the workers or bad corporate
practices, that would make me walk, regardless of the amount of the
paycheck. If it was just a case of being bored or unchallenged, I'd
find other things to do to bring me fulfillment.
It's really up to the individual. Each of us has our own set of
ethical standards and "comfort zones" within which we make
professional decisions.
