TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
This thread has been going on techwr-l, although I
haven't been following it closely until now, when need
(at least for understanding) arises. I'm cross-posting
to techwr-l and nettechwriters, so apologies in
advance for any duplication or confusion.
Does anyone have any experience with
outsourced/off-shored API/SDK doc projects? Our API
docs team has just been eliminated b/c the docs are
being sent to India. (The code continues to be
maintained and indeed re-architected in the U.S.)
If you reply from techwr-l, please cc me, since I'm on
digest there.
TIA,
Jennifer
