TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I'd like to piggyback a request on that. Whenever you enter a URL in
a post, it doesn't take much to add http:// to the beginning of it
(like Bonnie did below). When you do, it becomes an active link that
can be clicked. When you don't and just start with www. , we have to
copy the URL to clipboard and past it into a browser window.
It's not a big thing...just a way to save us 10-15 seconds each time.
> When you quote something, could you include the URL? Thanks.
