It'll work if everyone involved is very disciplined, but highly manual
processes like this are often prone to error. Also, your approach is
technically called "repurposing" and not "single-sourcing", since you
are copy/pasting content into a separately-maintained document.
There's nothing wrong with that, but I thought I'd call attention to
the difference.
