I just created a PDF with an Excel file, with Acrobat 7.0 Professional
and it seems to work just fine.
I initially tried using the Convert to PDF button that Acrobat 7
installed and had problems.
Then I just printed (File -> Print) the file with the Adobe PDF print
driver and, after turning off "Do not send fonts to Adobe PDF", it
worked okay. I also had to clear the Print titles, in Page Setup dialog,
because the originator of the file had a value set.

Subject: Excel to PDF
Yes, I tried direct conversion from Excel to Acrobat 7 pro, but what I
got was a page that scrolled horizontally for days-hyperbole I know, but
some truth as well. My boss wouldn't find that result acceptable. There
must be a "fit to page" check box or setting in the conversion settings,
but I can't find it.
