In general, a consumer is the person who purchases your product, while the
user is the person using it. These can be two different groups of people.

For example, your manager might purchase Widgets V2.0 for the widget sales
people. He (or she) may never use the program, but purchased it because the
salesperson gave him a great price. Now it is up to you, the salesperson,
to figure out how to USE the darn thing!
