That's splitting hairs pretty thinly. One person's
initialism can be another person's acronymism. I never
pronounce "IRA" the same as the given name that is
spelled the same way, but I sometimes pronounce "IRS"
as "errs". Such a list of variable ways to say such a
thing would be very long.
