Thanks to all who commented on my doc release numbering question. Sorry that I could not answer some questions put to me. I fell under the power of a billion viruses for a week.

It was decided by someone other than me that a part number will not be assigned to the docs.

So I will be going with a "Documentation Release" version for each doc release, in addition to the software release number. There seems to be no one perfect way to go about this.

There will also be month/year release info.
