Kevin,

You can try WebShots (www.webshots.com). I don't know if it does all
that you're looking for, but it's what I use for switching between
background photos on my desktop. I can add my own photos or download
some from the site (some are free, some are not). It also gives you a
neat little calendar on your desktop if you want it.

Tech writing tie-in: How about taking some screen captures of the online
version of the MMOS and using those for background images? :-)
