Hi Sharon,

I've been writing a guide to technical illustration that's been delayed yet again because I'm rewriting it to focus on Adobe Illustrator rather than Macromedia FreeHand (R.I.P.). If you're interested, I'll send you the chapter on creating isometric illustrations. It's still oriented toward FreeHand, but the concepts apply equally to Illustrator.

I know about Tufte and his books but they are too abstract for what I need.
Horton and his Icon book is good but I don't know that I can get the writers
to generalize from icons to half page drawings. I did a quick search of
google but there are too many to know what's great.
