Macro for Word?

that will, when the user opens a new document, ask if the document is  
'Internal' or 'Confidential', and based on the user's need, will  
insert the appropriate footer. Is this even possible?>>

It's certainly possible, but I wouldn't bother. Instead, I'd create  
two templates (one called "Internal.dot" and another called  
"Confidential.dot"), and make them available on the network. Fill the  
templates with whatever boilerplate material you need, and you're
