Whatever you started with. From a camera you probably got a hi-rez
JPEG, from-scratch graphics will be PSDs, XCFs, AIs, and SVGs, etc.

Just keep the best-quality original in storage somewhere, regardless
how you edit down for distribution. Don't toss them out thinking
you won't need them again, cuz you will.
