Yves -- I've not seen standards, but as a gear-head of long standing,
take a look at Harley Davidson/Buell Manuals -- they've won some awards,
and they are GREAT manuals --

Hello techwhirlers,

I'm looking for documentation standards which specifically apply to car
repair manuals.

Good or bad examples are welcome as well.

Thanks in advance.
